HD Group Launches New Grain Processing Plant in Shevchenkove, Kyiv Region

The project was implemented by Ukrbakaliya Company LLC, part of HD Group, with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the USAID Agriculture Growing Rural Opportunities (AGRO) Activity, implemented by Chemonics International, and in partnership with OLIS, which designed and installed the turnkey grain processing complex.

The complex provides a full oat processing cycle — from grain preparation to flake production — with a processing capacity of 60 tonnes of raw material per day and an output of up to 34 tonnes of finished flakes. In its first month of operation, the new plant produced more than 1,000 tonnes of high-quality finished products. Building on this solid foundation, Ukrbakaliya aims to introduce advanced grain processing technologies, enabling it to increase its production capacity for flakes and groats to 34,000 tonnes per year as early as this year.
