Russian Missile Attack Destroys Nova Poshta’s Largest Innovative Sorting Terminal in Kyiv

Nova Poshta CEO Yevhen Tafiichuk wrote on Facebook that this was a special sorting center — the first terminal in Ukraine equipped with the world’s most advanced parcel sorting equipment from Vanderlande. “It was a symbol of our development, bold investment in the future, innovation, Lean culture, and our daily drive to become better. It embodied the knowledge, experience, ambitions, and belief of thousands of people that Ukrainian business can create world-class facilities even during wartime,” Yevhen Tafiichuk wrote. He said that no employees were injured and added that the terminal would be rebuilt.

On June 17, a Nova Poshta sorting terminal in Sumy was also damaged. At the time of the strike, the terminal contained more than 13,000 shipments with a total declared value exceeding UAH 42 million. None of the employees were injured. Over the past several months, Nova Poshta terminals in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Lutsk have also been hit by Russian strikes.

On the night of August 5, a Nova Poshta sorting center was completely destroyed in a massive Russian attack on Kyiv. Three people were killed in the strike, and significant damage to civilian infrastructure was also reported.
