TIS Denies Reports That It Plans to Suspend Operations in December
08.09.2026

The TIS terminal group has denied reports that it allegedly plans to suspend operations in December. The company’s press service issued a statement on Facebook.
“Yes, we are suffering losses: TIS infrastructure has already sustained damage that will take years to repair. Nevertheless, we are operating to the extent that circumstances allow and have no intention of ceasing our activities. The reports circulating online are not true.
TIS is a strategic enterprise, a key source of foreign currency revenue for budgets at all levels, and a critically important link in ensuring the uninterrupted operations of Ukrainian producers. A shutdown would trigger a long chain of serious consequences not only for our team, but also for most of Ukraine’s major businesses. As long as it is within our power, we will continue to operate, keeping the safety of our employees our top priority.”
TIS (TransInvestService) is Ukraine’s largest privately owned port and industrial complex, located in the waters of the Malyi Adzhalyk Estuary near the Port of Pivdennyi. On September 3, 2026, TIS marked 32 years since its founding.
