The 47th FBN Ukraine event took place in Lyon, France

France’s third most populous city has the largest number of authentic family businesses, and the event participants visited the most famous of them. This is Fermob - an innovative furniture company with a 100-year tradition, whose owner and CEO Bernard Reybieris also the head of FBN France. The company Groupe SEB is a global giant in the production of small household appliances. The history of the consortium dates back to 1847 and is currently presented in 150 countries around the world; its annual turnover makes about 8 billion euros. LesVinsHameauDuboeuf is a wine company with a 200-year history and the world’s largest amusement park Hameau Duboeuf dedicated to winemaking.
Silk, cinema and gastronomy are what Lyon is famous for. The participants of the event visited the Saint-Georges silk workshop, which belongs to the family of Louis De La Calle and his sons, had dinner not only at the French-Ukrainian restaurant ‘Malva,’ but also at the Michelin-starred restaurant of Paul Bocuse, one of the most famous chefs in the world. In addition, at the Lumiere Institute, the mini movie ‘FBN-Ukraineà Lyon’ was filmed.
The acquaintance with Lyon, home to the oldest ancient ruins in France, completed the trip to the innovative quarter of the future Confluence. And also - a seminar with coach and business trainer Vytautas Buchyunas on the topic Leadership as social parenting.’
