28.09.2026

The Global Citizen Award was established in 2007 by Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton to recognize work that changes lives around the world.
The award ceremony took place in New York during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The award was presented to Superhumans CEO Olha Rudneva in person by President Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton.
The Superhumans team first attended the Global Citizen Award ceremony in 2022.
“At that time, our first center in Lviv was just beginning to be built, and we presented our Commitment to Action: to establish a modern center providing care for people with war-related injuries, launch prosthetics and reconstructive surgery services, and help at least 100 patients in the first year,” said Superhumans founder Andriy Stavnitser. “Four years later, Superhumans has three centers in Lviv, Dnipro and Odesa, more than 5,000 patients, a team of 650 people, 3,888 prostheses, 3,177 surgeries, 577 hearing aids and 410 evacuations from the front line. We have far exceeded the commitments we made.”
There is no application process for the Clinton Global Citizen Award. Over the award’s 20-year history, fewer than 100 people and organizations worldwide have received it. Laureates include Joe Biden, Leonardo DiCaprio, Andre Agassi, Quincy Jones and Sir Fazle Hasan Abed.
