According to the terms of the agreement signed between USAID Investment for Business Resilience Activity (IBR) and Suziria Group, the company will co-invest another $4.5 million through loans from Ukrainian banks and its own funds.

The company will receive the grant funding within the framework of the IBR goal to support Ukrainian enterprises affected by the war. After the missile attack on the warehouse in Kharkiv, the Suzirya Group company moved the production of grain compound feed to Kalush. Here they also created new facilities for the production of meat delicacies for dogs and cats. Meanwhile, some production units continue to work in Kharkiv.

The grant will allow SuziriaGroup to open a new enterprise for the production of wet food for pets in the city of Kalush, the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Suziria Group will be able to increase its own production capacity in Ukraine, create 130 new jobs and significantly reduce the cost of production.

The manufacturer intends to cooperate more closely with key Ukrainian retailers and produce wet animal feed for them. In three years, Suziria Group plans to start exporting its wet pet food to the European market.
