Issue 33 of Family Business Magazine Released
13.04.2026

In his opening remarks, Vladyslav Burda, Founder and President of FBN Ukraine, analyzes the situation facing businesses in Ukraine and shares his view that the most important task today is to preserve the team’s mental health. He believes that if a business is capable of adapting to such extreme conditions, it has a strong chance not only of surviving today but also of confidently continuing into the next generation.
The magazine features a vivid account of the 53rd FBN Ukraine Event, as well as the best family businesses of 2025, selected during the event from among 39 participants in three traditional categories: Large Business, Medium-Sized Business, and Small Business. It also includes notes from the 34th FBN International Summit, which brought together more than 600 participants from 65 countries in Miami, with Ukraine represented by a delegation of 11 FBN Ukraine members.
In the “Key Players” section, readers will learn about the family business of Taras and Oksana Serediuk — an abridged version of a chapter from the second Lessons of War book presented by FBN Ukraine. “Independent Boards” explores the key tasks facing boards in today’s environment. As always, the “Consulting & Advice” section offers plenty of useful insights, including stories of family businesses where trust between parents and children has been lost but efforts are being made to rebuild it. The “NextGen & NowGen” section focuses on how to develop an educational strategy for university admission.
